Are our Elites out of touch?

No, it must be us who are wrong. 

But seriously, look at the prices here. What is going on in their heads? Do they not pay any bills? Reminds me of an interesting lecture I saw. Basically Summers and some guy are talking about men who don't work. Now they showed some interesting facts about men who don't work and I thought oh that is something (the trend line is from the 60s, basically), but then you start to hear them talk about why this is. And oh man, is it some turgid stupid stuff. Like old men yelling about how middle school mores must be the reason or how these men must not want to show up to work on time and so forth. It blew my mind at how out of touch these people, ostensibly the ones paid the most to solve such problems, were. 

Once more the world's craziness outdoes my imagination. 

But there's hope. Just like the previous poll I shared, where boomers were the most for fighting Russia while younger types weren't (and people immediately started blaming TikTok), a new poll shows the elite's attempt to gin up Russia hate has been futile. Now look at how the comments on twitter (certainly an elite-heavy place) react to this. Just screaming over and over and Russiaphobia over and over. Very impressive. 

But again, there's hope (just like a war poll, even for WWII was way more pacifist than I would have imagined).
