Germany Going Down?

Heard a few people mention it, but it really seems like they're hurting. Look at all this article has to say about their situation. Wow. The US wants the EU on their own energy, but at this price? Really no long term thinking here. And what happens when Germany's industry etc fail? Not good things, as history shows. Man is this going to hurt, especially with the Nordstream 2 now blown up (who did it? Who knows, but I'd bet on not Russia for now... a slight favorite there, US next with a 3rd party (on their own) a last). Thoughts? Hard to know, tbf, and people who seem certain are not basing it on much.
